JIVE JUST GOT REAL PLOTTING POST
We've got some major game-wide plot points coming to a head, and June is the time to start capitalizing on them. And so, we have a few major areas we'd like to hit.
First off, the Dark Area! Omegamon is in power, and the Dark Area Army has more or less fallen. Most of the Dark Area's people are held by Omegamon, along with scattered refugees, but they need help. There are two posts by Ivan that have come out that will cover this on two fronts, but we'd like to open this plot up to suggestions for both planning those and planning beyond that. Where would you like to see the Virus Busters and Dark Area plots go? How do you feel about Omegamon turning his eyes beyond the Dark Area?
Next... the Demon Kings. Particularly, one Lilithmon. These guys have been a looming constant threat for some time now, and well... it's time things came to head; with her especially. Lilithmon may have recently gotten a new seal puppet, but she's far from being seen in the same light she was before all her previous failures. She wants to prove herself, and that means awakening another Ogudamon piece.
And where is this Ogudamon piece? Well, considering Neon City has been a hive of corruption and crime, the piece has already awakened... and it's being used. ACDC Tower, which stands at the center of Neon City, uses the energy of the Super Demon King's remnant to power itself. Nanomon has been hiding this for some time now, but Lilithmon knows where the piece is. She wants to take down Nanomon's tower and retrieve the piece herself. Naturally, this will involve her sealed pawns, but we'd like to see what you guys would like to see out of the plot. Do you have any ideas for how other groups could be involved? And for those of you who play Sealed characters, is there a part you'd like to play?
Just to be clear: This is Lilithmon's last stand. This will end with the destruction of one of the Demon Kings.
That said, if the Demon Kings are gonna be getting more prominent, we'd like to see if anyone else would like to have their character be Demon Sealed. Just putting that out there, yo.
Thirdly, DATS. DATS will soon be beginning a recruitment drive, and this will be an IC event. There will also be changes in how applications to DATS are made, and that will be up soon as well. That said, we're always looking for ways to get DATS more involved in crises, and we thought perhaps making a contact post where people could call in when there's trouble would be the way to go.
Of course, this would mean more initiative and impetus for agents to stay on the ball, so we'd like thoughts on how we could implement this process and get characters out there more easily. Note that we're okay with agents acting on their own without direct orders, but they are expected to report in when getting over their heads.
Also on the DATS front, once the recruitment drive is over, we will be introducing a new aspect to the game where members of DATS can qualify to achieve the rank of Captain. The numbers of Captains are a bit low, and we'd like to include some new meat in their ranks. The test for qualification will be a simulation that tests a character's leadership skills and other abilities, and determines whether or not they have what it takes to be a leader.
Finally, we'd like to get the crew of the Halberd back in action. That requires new additions to the crew, and we'd like to see if anyone had characters that were interested in joining.
